So, what does this say about the discipline, grit and confidence of young Indian which is hungry and waiting for an opportunity. Talk to journalists and you will start believing that this country is finished and maybe there is no hope. If sports are a reflection of who we are as a country then today a 23-year-old Rishabh Pant or a 26-year-old Mohammed Siraj are showing a very different kind of a world, where giving up is never an option and which is filled with innocence, courage, hope and endless possibilities.”
Even the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was elated with the win and congratulated them for their remarkable performance. "We are all overjoyed at the success of the Indian Cricket Team in Australia. Their remarkable energy and passion was visible throughout. So was their stellar intent, remarkable grit and determination. Congratulations to the team! Best wishes for your future endeavours," the Prime Minister tweeted.
